Jesus, just when we thought the extremely buff barbarian king was gone for good after the 2011 movie starring Jason Momoa, we now get another form of entertainment, featuring but not particularly pertaining to, Conan the Barbarian.

In Conan Exiles players are thrust into the open world set in Conan the Barbarian’s universe.  As exiles you’ll have to learn to survive in the world and start anew, exploring the map, which as of right now is 53-square kilometers, which is (fun fact) twice the size of Skyrim’s world.  With no loading screens (BOOM). Players will be tasked with setting up a home, hunting wild animals and growing crops essentially creating a life in this hostile world you now live in.  Use different tools as well as a multitude of weapons to help you survive.

Hoping you’ll get a fruitful harvest season? Pray to the god of your choice, align with different ones such as Mitra, Derketo, and Set, with the option of completely changing your religion later on.  Explore your world with other players, collecting and crafting along the way, fight off invading countries that can invade your server and attempt to purge players from the area.  Band together as players to fight off these invaders or possibly throw your fellow players under the bus and lead the enemy right to their front door.

The game will have a single player mode for all those people that want this experience for themselves.  But for the players that like to interact with other gamers there will be public and private servers that can be set up by players to play with friends or just random ass people.  It’s ARK survival meets Conan the Barbarian, and it looks glorious.
